ASA Plastic info:

The Ocean chair shell and tabletop are made of ASA, a synthetic material. ASA is extremely resistent to the sun's ultraviolet rays, meaning that the colour of the shell will endure, not fade. At the same time the material resists widely fluctuating temperatures - making it ideal for outdoor use. For outdoor furniture - ASA plastic is state of art: classes above and more expensive than the most commonly used types of plastic - such as PP or ABS.

As this plastic complies with requirements of EN 1728: 2000, ie, testing level for loads, the second toughest category. This means that the chairs are approved for use in public areas, thus also suitable for the professional market.

Stainless Steel Info:

The Danish maufacturer has developed the STAINPROOF suface which is a unique method for treating the surface of stainless steel. The treatment gives the surface an elegant texture and silky lustre appearance, making it exceptionally resistant to impurities and surface rust at the time.
