the comacina writing desk with storage unit designed by piero bottoni in 1930.
comacina is a simple and efficient design with an 18/8 tubular stainless steel frame. the top and storage unit are made of medium density fiberboard and finished with a choice of colors in scratch-resistant embossed paint. the desktop is also available with a stain-resistant cowhide 90 insert.
there are two versions of the storage unit available - one has a 9,5 h top drawer with an 29,5 h card index below it containing 10 card indexes. the other version has four 9,5 h drawers. the storage unit can rest on either the right or left side of the desk. the top drawer of both versions comes with a lock.
